Senior Class 2012 Activities
SENIORS, Class of 2012! The time is drawing near for all Seniors, Class of 2012 to pay your school debts and start paying for your year-end activities (i.e. Prom, Graduation, etc.). Please see the attachment for more detailed information regarding Senior Class of 2012 Activities. The next Senior Parent Meeting will take place on Monday, December 19, 2011 - see the Counseling Department for more information for the upcoming meeting.
Winter Garden Dance
The DHW Parent Volunteers are sponsoring a Winter Garden Dance for the DuSable Campus students that will take place on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 7:00 - 10:30 PM. The Winter Garden Dance is a "Semi-Formal" event and that means you have to dress to impress! Students will not be allowed to enter the dance with jeans, t-shirts, or gym-shoes - this is a time when young ladies will get to dress as "young" ladies, and our young men will get to dress as "young" gentlemen. Tickets for the dance are still being sold, but get yours before they are sold-out. Tickets can be purchased during lunch on Friday, December 9, 2011 - they are $10 per DuSable Campus student. A guest may accompany DuSable Campus student for $10, and they must have a current and valid High School ID.
"Don't be Tardy!" - DHW After-School Detention Program Starting - December 8, 2011
Any student arriving to school at 8:01 a.m. and after will be issued an after-school detention notice. Students must also arrive to each class on time in order to avoid receiving an after-school detention notice. School starts daily at 8:00 a.m. and the school doors open daily at 7:15 a.m. Please make sure you arrive to school on time and that you are making it to class before the tardy bell rings. Read on for additional information.
